Class Fee are paid monthly or for the remainder of semester at the City of Smyrna site. Monthly fees are on a per class fee times the number of classes held in a particular month. Semester fees are based on the total number of classes remaining in the semester. Semester Fee option available Aug, Sep, Oct for fall semester and Jan, Feb, Mar for Winter/Spring semester
Fees are not prorated for personal absences of scheduled classes.

Me and My Pal (previously Mommy and Me) -- Ages 18 months to 3 years
Saturdays 10:00 - 10:30 (30 minutes)
Back by popular demand, Mommy's or Daddy's join with your little one to sing and dance! You will enjoy fun songs you can practice at home. This is a great way for the children to begin learning social skills with others.
Twinkle Toes Ballet/Tap --Ages 3 - 4yrs 11months
Wednesdays 4:30 - 5:15 (45 minutes)
Thursdays 4:15 - 5:00 (45 minutes)
Saturdays 10:30-11:15 (45 minutes)
Sing, Dance and Create! Follow popular children's movies as your learn the basics of Ballet and Tap. Dancers will grow in poise, grace, coordination and teamwork creating a special recital performance show. Each class includes both Tap and Ballet.
Students are eligible to participate in our recitals.
This is a class for students who can participate without a parent in the studio, however, parents of the younger children should remain outside the classroom during the class as their children often need assistance with bathroom breaks.
Due to the extreme popularity of Twinkle Toes we have added a second Wednesday class. Classes will be limited to 20 students.
Beginning Ballet/Tap--Ages 4 yrs 11 months - 6 yrs 11 months
Wednesdays 5:15 - 6:00 (45 minutes)
Thursdays 5:00 -5:45 (45 minutes)
Saturdays 11:15 - 12:15 (60 minutes)
This class leads the dancers to a structured understanding of Ballet and Tap technique. Students focus on body alignment and classical use of arms, hands and feet.
Beginning Barre and centre work prepares participants for our Recitals.
6 year old dancers are eligible to tryout for Team membership.
This extremely popular class will be limited to 20 students. To accommodate the demand we have added an additional class on Thursdays.

Hip Hop & Tumbling -- Ages 6 to 12 Boys and Girls
Thursdays 5:45 - 6:30 (45 minutes)
Rock, roll and jump (literally) to the rhythm of age appropriate popular music. Learn fun dance routines and grow in self confidence. Great time to just have fun and let loose with your new friends. Dancers will learn a special performance number that will "wow" the audience in our annual recital.

Adult Tap -- All Adult Ages

Tuesdays 7:15 - 8:15 (60 minutes)
Did you take tap classes as a child and miss it? Join us to tap the night away. No experiences in tap but would love to try it? Join us as well. Classes are tailored to beginners and intermediates at the same time. You will learn basic tap steps and put them together in dances. A Spring recital is available, in May, but is not required.
(Please note that Feb-May of each year we focus on our recital dance for about half the class; during Aug-Dec of each year we focus more on technique and learn mini-dances throughout the session.)

Adult Ballet -- Ages 16 and over

Thursdays 7:30 -8:30 (60 minutes)
This class is for all levels from beginners to advanced. You will be learning how to pile in all positions 1st through 5th, tendus to passes plus much more. You will work on across the floor techniques including turns, walks, and leaps. After learning all these techniques, we will put it all together in a choreographed dance. Those childhood dreams of becoming a ballet dancer will come true in this class. Dancers may participate in the recital if they would like. |
Competition Teams - Judged performances in local/regional/national shows.
Senior Varsity Ages 6 and older
Wednesdays 6:30 - 7:30 (60 minutes)
Any student who takes a technique class can audition to join this high energy group. Great for learning teamwork skills. Your dancer will grow in discipline and develop a passion for dance. The team will compete in multiple competitions throughout the metro area during the spring of 2025 and also perform in our company recitals. Senior Varsity dancers may also choose to compete with a solo/duet/trio.
Elite Dance Team
Wednesdays 7:00 - 8:00 (60 minutes)
For our most experienced dancers (by invitation only - participants will be selected by our staff) an advanced team to take allow you to showcase your skills, as part of a team dance and/or solos in multiple competitions throughout the metro area during the spring of 2025. This class will be a combination of jazz and contemporary dance.
